A Building report ensures you that the property you are about to purchase has no major structural or major maintenance issues. The building reports are carried out in accordance with the current Australian Standards A.4349.1

Property works can provide two types of building inspections a standard or a special purpose.

Standard Building Inspection

These reports include an inspection of all accessible areas of the property, including:    

• Structure & Footings
• External Finishes
• Retaining Walls &  Fences
• Driveways & Paths
• External Structures
• Internal Finishes
• Roof Areas
• Doors & Windows
• Subfloor Areas
• Pergolas
• Decking
• Plumbing
• Drainage & Wet areas

Special Purpose Building Inspection

In addition to the above we further include an inspection of the following:

• Electrical Applicances (eg. dishwashers, ovens, hot plates etc)
• Power points
• Air conditioners
• Automatic roller doors
• Smoke detectors
• Heating (not including fireplaces)
• Exhaust fans

Note: The inspection of electrical equipment is not carried out by an electrician and is purely a test to determine that these appliciances are operational at the time of the inspection.
